🌊 Most Common Questions from Future Clients

Our team will guide you every step of the way — from understanding your needs and suggesting the ideal yacht, to recommending the best sailing areas and islands to visit. We’ll also handle any special requests and ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.
Our goal is simple: to plan your perfect sailing holiday in Greece.

To help us create the best offer for you, please share:

  • Your sailing experience or qualifications (and whether you prefer a skippered or bareboat charter)

  • Number of people in your group and cabin preferences

  • Islands or areas you wish to visit

  • Your travel dates in Greece

  • Any special requests or questions

Once we receive your information, we’ll contact you if we need any details clarified. Then, we’ll send a detailed proposal and quote.
After you confirm your chosen offer, we’ll provide the official charter contract, invoice, and payment instructions.
Before your arrival, we’ll collect your travel details and any extra requests (like transfers, hotel bookings, or provisions) so everything is ready when you arrive.

💳 Booking & Payment

Once you confirm and the yacht’s availability is verified, we’ll send your reservation forms by email — usually on the same day.

Yes. We’ll email you a proforma contract detailing your booking (yacht, base, and dates). Please sign and return it via email to secure your reservation.

Of course! Contact us with your booking reference, and we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard).
Card payments include a 2.8% transaction fee.

⛵ During Your Charter

Yes, the final cleaning is included in the mandatory charter pack.

Yes, the outboard is offered free of charge and its first fuel fill is included in the mandatory charter pack.

Fuel usage varies depending on sailing time and conditions, plus the usage hours of the generator. Expect €400–€900 per week on average for catamarans.

Extras are paid directly to local providers in cash at the base before embarkation.

Check-in is normally at 17:00, but you can request an Early Check-In at 14:00 (if available, extra charge).
If early check-in isn’t possible, you’ll revert to the regular time at no cost.

Please note that no electrical appliances such as hair dryers or hair irons are available on board, as their high voltage could damage the yacht’s batteries. The only appliance provided is a Nespresso coffee machine, which operates on 220V power and requires classic Nespresso pods.

🧳 Preparing for Your Trip

Pack light and bring only essentials — comfortable clothing, swimwear, rubber-soled shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.
You’ll need your own charging cables (USB or AUX) and a 2-pin European adapter for sockets on board.

Casual beachwear is perfect for daytime. Bring a light jacket for cooler evenings and soft-soled shoes for onboard use.
Sun protection is key — sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are must-haves.

Yes! Upon arrival, our base team will share local weather forecasts and sailing tips to help you plan your route safely.

Absolutely. Our team will provide personalized itinerary suggestions based on your interests and the weather forecast.

Yes, all yachts are equipped with a certified first aid kit that meets health and safety standards.

Of course! Sailing is a wonderful family experience. Our crew will brief you on safety, and many yachts include family-friendly water toys.

Bring enough cash to cover:

  • Extras (paid at base)

  • Fuel and port fees

  • Personal expenses during your trip

Yes, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover trip interruptions, cancellations, illness, or other unexpected events.

Please note that amenities and toiletries are not supplied on board. Guests are advised to purchase all necessary items to ensure a comfortable stay on the yacht.

If you have requested a hostess, you will receive a link to submit your preferences. The hostess will then organize the provisions, which will be delivered to the boat upon your arrival. Payment can be made by card or in cash.

Our charter base in Alimos Marina has nearby shops where you can find everything you need. Upon your arrival, our base staff will advise you on the nearest supermarket for provisioning in the local area. Alternatively, you can use the link for the e-provisioning service that will be provided after your booking is confirmed, and preorder everything you need. You can arrange for delivery to your yacht before your embarkation so you are ready to set sail as soon as possible!

⚓ Bareboat & Skippered Charters

Greek authorities require at least:

  • One certified skipper (ASA or RYA accepted)

  • One experienced co-skipper
You must show your original license at check-in.

    • Check-in: Saturday at 17:00 (Early Check-In at 14:00 may be available)

    • Return to base: Friday by 17:00

    • Check-out: Saturday at 09:00

Your charter includes:

  • Use of the yacht and all listed equipment

  • Taxes and VAT

  • Marine insurance

  • Charter pack: bed linen, towels, end cleaning, gas, dinghy fuel, and 1 SUP board

Running costs such as fuel, port fees, food, and water are not included.

Yes! Our technical team is available 24/7 for assistance.
If needed, a technician can reach you within:

  • 24 hours in the Saronic Gulf

  • 48 hours in the Cyclades or Peloponnese

Each yacht has a refundable security deposit that covers insurance deductibles for one incident.
If no damage occurs, it’s fully refunded within 14 days after the end of the charter.
For skippered charters, deposit insurance (€300) is required and paid on-site at check-in.

If no one in your group is qualified or you simply want to relax, a skippered charter is the perfect choice.
Your skipper will handle the yacht and help plan your route — ensuring a safe, stress-free experience.

  • Skipper: Handles navigation, docking, refueling, and safety procedures

  • Hostess: Prepares meals, assists with cleaning, and helps the skipper as needed
Crew members have their own cabin and shared WC.

You’ll meet your crew upon arrival at Alimos Marina.
We don’t share crew contact details in advance since they work weekly with different charters, but our team is available for any pre-trip questions.

The charterer is responsible for the crew’s daily meals. Most guests offer about €30 per crew member per day, or the skipper can manage meals within that budget.

Tips are optional but appreciated. The standard gratuity is around 10% of the charter fee for excellent service.
